Kariqan Lore

I've been very busy for the past few weeks, with little time to venture much further than the cozy constraints of my dungeon and the Soupir square. Most of the time I did have was spent arranging things with Jhal-Abur and in writing stories and articles for the library and for our Gazette.
One of the first things that I arranged was for Kariq to open its doors and change from a boring old Generic town to a colorful 2D location. If any of you remember the old version of my hometown, it was a very, very small place with 3 people willing to talk to you and a single souvenir shop. The place has changed, though, and now you can finally see all the friendly townspeople that I grew up with! They're a little shy, but I've convinced them to accept a pep talk from an English professor at Lucky U. Hopefully, that will give them more confidence to talk to visitors like you.
The little woman in blue right there is my mommy. She actually has really sexy bun hair, but she says it looks like Danishes, which is why she always wears that scarf. Anyhow, she'll be there as your friendly Kariqan tour guide.
I also arranged for a wise old Storyteller to tell a different story every week, and for a young couple to set up a small general store in Kariq. Admittedly, Kariq is getting more modern now that developements are on the rise. I just hope we'll be able to preserve our heritage while being able to converge with the rest of Jhal-Abur in their quest to educate and welcome NEaBians.
Another thing I did? Write, write, write. I wrote two articles for the gazette this week and also finished a cookbook for the Jhal-Abur library. It's on cooking with chocolate, so if you ever need to impress your girlfriend with any of these recipes, I've got it on tab:
-chocolate souffle
-sauerkraut chocolate cake
-devil's food cake
-hot chocolate sauce
I also wondered if you noticed that there is a Driving school in Bakkistan?
Currently you are unable to enroll in it, as for Lucky U (they are still in testing phases and meant only for Jhal-Abur citizens at the time) but you can still visit them. With any luck, a young lass and her two siblings may need some assistance soon, at which point you can then have some fun in these two places.
