Well, it was officially opened last weekend, but I was too lazy busy to post until now.  On February 24, 2010, Jhal-Abur went public.  I brought the papers to Jones, who promptly signed them and sent word to the Travel Agency that a ferry was to begin service to Jhal-Abur.  I also got a new title as the official spokesperson for Jhal-Abur.  Dame TaliaSolo-it sounds rather odd, doesn't it?  I'll have to get used to the sound of it :P

 You can imagine the joy of the Sultan when I told him that NEaBians from all over would finally be able to experience the wonders of Jhal-Abur!  After we finished drinking our celebratory champagne, however, we quickly got back to work.  The Sultan's advisors and I have been discussing, and we've decided that if Jhal-Abur is to continue being of interest to NEaBians, it must have more to offer.  

Some things to anticipate are more 2D locations and quests, as well as additional storylines to them.  I may not add on to some of my existing storylines (the Spy Club quests and Denny Cringe quests) for a while...however, as I add on, you will see that it is for a good reason.  Admittedly I was about to go and throw a bunch of ideas on the Sultan's Table, but Princess Jemimah reminded me that I should try and consolidate all my ideas before I go and make promises that I can't keep. 

 By the way, you should keep an eye on the Princess. She goes promenading in the Botanical Gardens every Wednesday, so if you happen to be there on that day, make sure you stop by and spend a few moments talking to her.  She tends to be very lonely, sitting all day in her spinaret by herself. Don't tell her, but I intend to find her a proper suitor one day.  I just hope I'll be able to find someone of royalty, though...most of the young Princes nowadays are spoiled brats.

  Anyways!  As I promised on the Jhal-Abur info board, I shall include updates about Jhal-Abur in my blog posts.  Sometimes they'll be short add-ons to my longer posts, in point form.  If I decide that they warrant a longer post, I'll place them in my new Category marked Jhal-Abur.  Don't forget to check it every now and then (or possibly suscribe to it by RSS?)

- Worked on Kariq 2D location
- Added some pictures to the art gallery in Homahhed (check out the sketch I made of my dad!)

- Fixed some buggy quests
- Finished the second and began a third in a group of quests I plan to release next
- Worked on creating 2D locations for Ahmad shops
- Finished the PoDD outpost

The life of an Island Manager is busy, busy, busy!  So next time you see an Island Manager, Admin or even a lowly shepherd, please don't harrass them or give them a hard time, for they are trying their best to bring you the best experience possible for your adventures in NEaB.
